Escalating violence in Idlib, northwest Syria, over the past few weeks has forced over 700,000 civilians to flee their homes – the biggest wave of displacement in the region since the Syrian crisis began nine years ago.

Over the past two months, 15 medical facilities supported by Islamic Relief have been damaged or completely destroyed while at least 55 places where our partners distribute food have experienced several near misses during recent bombing attacks. In the last four weeks alone, our partners on the ground have recorded 428 strikes near locations where they operate.

On top of this, ninety percent of Islamic Relief staff in Idlib and their families have now been forcibly displaced. Islamic Relief Worldwide is one of the last international aid agencies left operating directly on the ground. You can support our work in Syria by donating now:
