New Zealand Appeal

Your donation, big or small, will impact the lives of the victim's families affected by the horrific Christchurch Attack that occured on the 15th of March, 2019.

On Friday the 15th of March a horrific mass shooting and terrorist act took place at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. It resulted in the loss of 51 innocent lives including women and children as well as dozens of injuries.

The attack on Christchurch has led to an unprecedented outpouring of support for the surviving families of the victims and the injured. Within Christchurch there is a large refugee population whose families are in mourning, struck with grief, and been left to ponder how they will cope in the future.  The road to long term recovery is difficult and many of the injured will be living with permanent disabilities.

The support will aim to cover the ongoing living cost and further needs including the cost of special support for the wounded people on their journey of recovery.

Supporting Our Family in New Zealand

As the dust settles, we aim is to establish a long-term initiative in the memory of the those who passed away, to support the injured people and reach out to the general public. We will work with the local authorities and community groups and support them to deliver services and address the community needs.

We are calling on all our donors and stakeholders to support this appeal.
